For Channel Partners that are CSPs, PKIDs are essential to registering their customer's Microsoft Windows Devices. Now Partners can get this information for all their customer's devices quickly with HP's PKID Reporting Service
Our contact center is on duty to supply this service 5 WD and 17 hours per day
This service is an after market service and can be purchased with or without the hardware purchase. Enables CSP partners to register their customer's custom hardware and Smart Buy or Channel Direct Windows PCs.
A simple request via our inbox device.registrationservices@hp.com is all you need post purchase
The request is submitted via a single column of serial #s in a .CSV file and proof of purchase of the service which could be an HP Sales Order or your thrid party PO with PDF copy.
Request PKIDs for your serial numbers via HP Device Registration Services inbox: device.registrationservices@hp.com.
Each request must include all needed information in a .CSV file to provide the PKIDs including:
Serial numbers of all devices.
HP Sales order or Service PO number that confirms service was purchased in matching serial number
quantities.
HP will reply with all matching PKIDs for each serial number or confirming failure of some or all serial numbers to have a valid PKID. In the latter case, customers will need to re-submit valid serial numbers within two business days to complete the service or Service PO will be considered closed.
Service POs can only be submitted once per request and must match the quantity of serial numbers requested for the service requested
